2024 Van Wert Campus Scholarship Application

Northwest State Community College is thrilled to offer the inaugural Van Wert Campus Scholarship in anticipation of opening our full-service campus during the 2024-2025 academic year. We look forward to meeting you this Fall at Van Wert Hospital after which you will transition to our newly remodeled campus at 520 E. Sycamore Street once it's ready. Classes will be hybrid in nature, meaning 1 night-a-week lecture with an online homework component, and 8 weeks in length. We look forward to serving you and helping you meet your career goals!

Overview of Program Requirements

-Must be newly admitted to Northwest State Community College for the Fall 2024 semester (cannot be a current student).
-Must live within Paulding, Van Wert, or Putnam county OR live in a surrounding county and must have taken courses through NSCC as a College Credit Plus student.
-Must register for at least 6 credits (and remain registered for the duration of the semester).
-Must complete application for federal student aid (FAFSA).
-Must take at least 1 class face-to-face or hybrid in Van Wert. Other classes may be taken in any modality (i.e. online, in person, hybrid, or at the Archbold campus).

Scholarship is continuously awarded as students apply and will be first come first serve.
A maximum of 50 Van Wert Scholarships will be awarded.
Scholarship is good for Fall 2024 semester for one class (3 credit hours).
Tuition-only scholarship; technology, textbook, and other standard fees still apply.
